چکیده
Abstract The roles of 99g Tc in stars and nuclear fission reactors that 99m medicine were studied using neutrons provided from accelerators are reported. In addition to the critical role stars, we also describe related light nuclei such as 16 O, experimental studies on keV-neutron capture cross sections these performed keV a 3.2-MV Pelletron accelerator section Tc, is important nucleosynthesis 99 transmutation long-lived wastes produced reactors, measured. both measured neutron time-of-flight method with ns-pulsed source 7 Li( p , n ) Be reaction an anti-Compton γ - ray NaI(Tl) spectrometer. measurements reported here compared values recent worldwide evaluated data libraries. We proposed producing 100 Mo( ,2 Mo reaction, production experiment nat sample MeV C( d by 40 deuterons at cyclotron. Calculations for enriched performed, calculated results results. Moreover, thermoseparation was discussed. As result, it shown prepared can be promising substitute product Mo.

Nuclear Weapons and Nuclear Reactors
This report addresses the tenuous link between nuclear power reactor development and the proliferation of nuclear weapons, particularly with respect to possible terrorist exploitation. Arguments are presented that contradict the popular image of nuclear weaponry as a "basement project". 4 CONTENTS
متن کاملHistory and Perspectives of Nuclear Medicine in Myanmar
Nuclear Medicine was established in Myanmar in 1963 by Dr Soe Myint and International Atomic Energy expert Dr R. Hochel at Yangon General Hospital. Nuclear medicine diagnostic and therapeutic services started with Probe Scintillation Detector Systems and rectilinear scanner. In the early stage, many Nuclear Medicine specialists from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) spent some time ...
متن کاملHistory and Perspectives of Nuclear Medicine in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is one of the smaller states in Asia. But it has a long and rich history of nuclear medicine for over sixty years. The progress in science and technology is always challenging in a developing country. In 1958, work for the first Nuclear Medicine facility was commenced in Dhaka in a tin-shed known as ‘Radioisotope Centre’ and was officially inaugurated in 1962. Since the late 50s of t...

The third nuclear medicine division was started in Rajvithi Hospital i...
متن کاملSafety of Nuclear Reactors
Nuclear reactors have, during the first twenty years of their existence, achieved an impressive safety record, possibly exceeding that of any comparable industry. As revealed in apaper byHenriB. Smets of the European Nuclear Energy Agency, there have been recorded during this period of time but six fatalities and less than 30 persons seriously irradiated from reactor accidents. Three of the fat...
